Abstract
El Laboratorio Antártico de Radiación Cósmica. (LARC) ha estado operando desde enero de 1991 en la isla Rey Jorge, bahia Fildes-caleta Ardley, base Presidente Eduardo Frei. En enero de 1992 sus sistemas electrónicos y de adquisición de datos fueron cambiados por sistemas digitales. Se describe su actual estado, presentándose muestras de sus datos. Así también, se informa de la implementación de programas de investigación para el presente y futuro cercano actualmente en desarrollo, como de su ligazón con la red de Monitores Sur de Radiación Cósmica, establecidos en zonas ubicadas entre los meridianos 60º Oeste y 70º Oeste.
The Antarctic Laboratory for Cosmic Ray (LARC) has been operated at King George Island, Fildes Bay, Ardley Cove, Presidente Eduardo Frei Station, since January 1991. In January 1992 its electronic and data acquisition system was changed to a digital one. Its present status is decribed, giving a report of available data, including information related with the proposed implementation of the LARC research programme, the linkage with the Southem Monitor network around the 60º W. - 70º W. meridian zone.
